I am a recent graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and am on my way to being ordained in the PC(USA). I am currently serving as Minister for Youth and Outreach at Hampton Presbyterian Church in Gibsonia, PA. My wife Renee and I were married in the spring of 2006 after a seven year friendship and a year and a half long distance relationship.
In May of 2003 I graduated from Grove City College with honors in Physics/Computer Science with a minor in Religion. While at Grove City I was apart of the Cross Country and Track and Field teams as well as a member of Delta Rho Sigma(Buffaloes), Sigma Pi Sigma(National Physics Honorary), BYTE (National Computer Science Honorary),, the Two Books Society, and Physics Club. I graduated from Spencerport High School in June of 1999
After college I had three different summer work experiences in ministry. During the summer of 2003 I was a Youth Ministry Intern with the First Presbyterian Church in Montrose, Colorado where I worked with a great group of high school and middle school students. During 2004 I completed one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Strong Memorial Hospital/University of Rochester Medical Center. Finally, during the summer of 2005 I was a counselor at Camp Crestfield in Slippery Rock, PA.
During College I had a number of different work experiences that included two summers as an intern at Xerox Corporation as apart of the Xerox Information Management Group where the majority of my work was focused on the development of an environment and server management database. During the summer of 2002 I took part in a Research Experience for Undergraduates program at Bucknell University. I worked with Dr. Tom Solomon on a developing a Lagrangian Capillary Number for describing chaotic flows. In November of 2002 I presented my work at the American Physical Society/Division of Fluid Dynamics conference in Dallas, TX
